A Homegoing Service for Mrs. Sylvia Allen of Tampa, Florida who passed away on January 18, 2020, will be held on Saturday, January 25th, 11:00 a.m. at St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 E. Chipco St., Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, pastor officiating. The interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery, Thonotosassa, Florida. Sylvia was born on January 15, 1920 in Quitman, Georgia to the late Sam and Mary Nelson. She attended the Brooks County Public School System. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Annie Mae Wright, Irene Favors and Willie Nelson, Sr.; children, Albert Robinson, Jr., and Mary Levette; granddaughters, Cynthia Barner and Gail Anderson; great-great grandson, Keteyian Jackson; nieces, Delores Mungin and Mary Cason; nephews, Sammie Nelson, Sr., Willie Nelson, Jr. and Robert Nelson; godchildren, Robert Lee Hughey, Joann and Harold Daniels.
