Ma Vilus, or Grann as she was affectionately known, was born in Chwazèy (Milot), Haiti on January 14, 1932 to the union of Isyeline and Wanelo Charlot. She was the eighth of ten children. Grann was an avid lover of cards (specifically Casino), and dominoes. She loved to watch game shows, every sport there is (soccer, football, basketball, etc.), and could watch Steve Harvey and Family Feud at all hours of the day. Her favorite pastime of all was spending time with her loved ones, especially her great grandchildren.
