A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Gloria Jean Carter-Judge who passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 will be held on Saturday, November 21st, 11:00 a.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rodney and Shanda Cook, officiating. The interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Gloria Jean Carter-Judge was born May 17, 1950 in Thibodaux, Louisiana to the late, Clarence Carter and Rosemary Williams. She enjoyed spending time with family, watching football and shopping. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William W. Judge, Sr.; brothers, David Williams, Clarence, Barry and Freddie Johnson; sister, Mary Harrell. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children, William W. Judge, Jr. (Lekvia) and Jason Byron Judge; grandchildren, Ashante K. Judge and Rashaud D. Lee; nieces, Shanda Cook (Rodney), Laquonda Telfare (Maurice), Dana Judge, Rosemary Salter (Toney) and Joanne Williams; nephews, Darrick Harrell, Matthew Harrell (Sade), Barry Johnson, Jr. and Brian Newton; cousin, Francis Briscoe; sister-in-law, Marjorie Thompson; grandnieces, Jocelyn and Hallie Telfare, Kelani Phelps and Kalese Salter; grand-nephews, Timothy, Rodney and Malique Carter, Darrick Harrell, Jr. and Myric Williams; long time friends, Ellis Cotrell, Willie Harvey, Angela James and Robin Turk. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
