A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Willie Nelson, Jr. of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 will be held on Saturday, October 19th, 2:30 p.m. at The Center for Manifestation Church, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Pastor Mark T. Jones; Rev. Ala Faye Nelson-Vickers, Pastor of Holy Outreach for Christ, officiating. The interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Willie was born on June 3, 1966 in Tampa Florida to the late Bishop Benjamin Willie Nelson and Ala Faye Vickers-Nelson. He enjoyed MMA boxing, wrestling, antique cars, chess and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Bishop Benjamin Willie Nelson; sister, Bertha Nelson and brother, Rodrick J. Nelson. He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories with his wife, Kujuana Nelson; children, Ykinnea Nelson, Willie A. Nelson and Christopher Walker; grandchildren, Niaira Nelson, George Smith, Ma’Khi A. Nelson, Mi’Cah A. Nelson, Malik A. Nelson and Malachi A. Nelson; loving mother, Ala Faye Nelson Vickers; brothers, Craig, Michael J. and Willie D. Nelson; sisters, Sarah and Iris Nelson; LaTisha McCall (Joe), Willisha Nelson, Selena Bogan and Patricia Vickers; aunts, Delores Nelson and Betty Washington; uncles, Herbert and Joseph (Lottie) Washington and Benny Vereen; nieces, Li’Queen, Julia (Kaleb) and Darnisha Flowers, Porsha and Tracy Brown, Chaquita Nelson and Delgracia Paye; nephew, Quinten Flowers, Jr.; special friends, Herman Cousins, Joel Guimaraes, Norris Marrow and Derick Hicks “Gue”; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at The Center for Manifestation Church on Friday, October 18th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
