A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Sarah Mae Scott of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 will be held Saturday, September 14th, 2:00 p.m., at 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Richard Lee Woodberry, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Sarah was born April 24, 1922 in Albany, Georgia. She enjoyed going to church, volunteering at the neighborhood school and fishing. She was preceded in death by her, husband John H. Scott Sr.; son, John H. Scott Jr.; daughter, Mamie L Grier, Diane L. and Evelyn Scott, father, Wilson Jackson; mother, Ommie Mickens and 5 brothers. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her, daughter, Carrie Adams, Rosia Lee and Gwendolyn Scott-Sands; grandchildren, Patricia Marshall (Jerome), Sharon, Charles and Gerald Morrison, Regina Johnson (late Ellis Johnson), Michelle Smith (Darrell), Ruthetta Mitchell (Sandi), Jerrell Lee, Horace Lee (deceased), Delores Jones (Herman, deceased), Keith Lee (Mae), Greg Lee, Shelia Marshall (Robert), Kenneth Lee (Renita), Vicki Hopps (late Vincent Hopps), David Lee Sr., Chris Lee (Consuela), Joseph Lee, Marcus Scott (Lisa); great-grandchildren, Angela Scott, Tiffany, Brianna, William “Bill” Brown, Kimberly Newsome (Stevie), Joanie Howell (Patrick), Nicole Lee, Bryan Carswell (deceased), Brandon Carswell, Jerrell Lee Jr. (Shantera), Daryl Lee, Justin Lee, Dominique Hopps, Shantae Hopps (Esperanza), Valencia Hopps, Ebony Hopps, Dimontario Hopps Sr. (Wanda), Willie V. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 13th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
