SHAWN NAPOLEON DUNBAR

May 2, 1969 ~ September 17, 2018 (age 49)

A homegoing celebration for Shawn N. Dunbar of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 will be held on Saturday, September 29th, 12:00 p.m. at College Hill Church of God in Christ, 6414 N. 30th Street, Tampa, FL 33605, Elder Charles Davis, Pastor with Supt. Clovis Dunbar, officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.  Shawn was born on May 2, 1969 in Tampa, Florida to Clovis Dunbar and Patricia Corbett.  He was a member of Refreshing Spirit Church of God in Christ. He had an infectious smile and loved his family. Shawn was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Mary Alice Corbett; brother, Chivarsky Corbett; aunt, Edith Underwood and uncle, Major Bloom. He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with his loving wife, Denise Dunbar; children, Shawntavia, Shaniece and Shawn, Jr. Dunbar and Whitney Coleman; grandchildren, Kyrii and Audreyana Everett and Tavaria and Amir Coleman; grandmother, Mary Dunbar; parents, Clovis Dunbar (Lois)  and Patricia Corbett; brothers, Jesse Hall (Sylvia), Barry Adkins and Adam Dunbar; sisters, Luciana Jenkins (Arviel), Anastasia Lee, Ashley Corbett, Courtney D’Boise (Jamaar) and Tajuana Simpson; aunts, Joyce Bloom, Sheila Williams, Josephine Singletary (Jadie), Gayle Timmons and Mary Crumity (Roderick); uncles, Willie (Mae) and Louis (Joyce) Corbett and Philip Dunbar; nieces,  Aniyah Jenkins, Makayla Hicks, Janiya Parker, Jill Wells (Mike), Jennifer Baker, Ashley and Paige Woods, Jessica, Leal Coleman, Jaidah Lehlback and Syphony Coleman; nephews, Adrian and Aaron Jenkins, Delmontinez, Jesse, Jr. and Jayden Parker, Justin Bryant, Quentin, Quante, Jamarion, Deontre Hall, Chivarksy Corbett, Jr., David Green, Jihad Cunningham, Jordan and Nolan Woods, Justin Coleman, O’Shay and O’Marion Coleman, Xavier Hunter, D’Corian Tyron and Tyrek and Chorus Coleman; cousins, Vernon and Joe Underwood, Renee and Nikki Hitchcock, Demetrius, Raylette Fairclough, Major and Chiati Bloom and Ashwiki and Tameka Corbett; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Baker, Terri Pittman (John) and Lanice Coleman; brothers-in-law, Gerald and Corey Coleman; special friends, Clarence and Diablo Lillie, Charles Kendall, Ronald Anderson, Archie McFadden, Rodney Fennell, Doug, Jason Ross, Pokie,Quita and Troy; the extending families, Lillie and Gilchrist family and Tampa Park family and a host of cousins and other Family and Friends that will miss him dearly.
