A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Joseph B. Napier of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 will be held Saturday, November 30th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Timothy Lancaster, officiating. Joseph B. Napier was born April 18, 1941 in Danville, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Mabel Napier. He was a neighborhood handy-man and enjoyed helping others, the sport of bowling. Joseph was a Member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church and a member of Prince Hall Masonic Lodge. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, and son, James Napier. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his wife, Bettye A. Napier; children, Yolanda Napier, Toni Napier and Daryl Napier of Baltimore, MD; 2 grandchildren, Yovonni Lee and Yasmine Lee; great-granddaughter, Emani Davenport; sisters, Lena Hunn of Danville, KT, Mary Radcliff of TN and Delores Lowery of IL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; sisters-in-law, Wanda Mundy, Arnetta Mays of Kentucky and brother-in-law, William Mundy (Toyia) of Hendersonville, TN; special friends, Rico Holton (Jackie), George Nix, (Nathleen), Linda Hill and Delores Grayson; The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, November 29th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
