A homegoing celebration for Mr. Isreal Neal of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 will be held on Saturday, September 22nd, 11:00 a.m. at New Hope M.B. Church, 3005 E. Ellicott Street, Tampa, FL Rev. Larry J. Mouton, Jr. officiating. The interment will be in Florida National Cemetery. Isreal Neal was the son of the late John Neal and Ada Rogers-Neal. He was born in Tampa, Florida on December 6, 1929. God’s mystery of Love and Mercy sank the heart into a deep sleep and rest on Sunday, September 16, 2018. He was kind, humble and obedient to the Lord’s command. He attended and graduated the public schools of Hillsborough County. Isreal spent 21 years in the US Navy and 30 years at the Chase Manhattan Bank, in New York. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father and was loved by all. He will surely be missed. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Allene Hemingway and Essie Andrus; brother, Thessalonians Neal and son, Tony Richie. He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife, Betty Acey-Neal; children, Rev. Pamela James of Patterson, NJ, Shawne Acey of Charlotte, NC, Isreal Grant of Buckingham, Virginia and Darrel Grant of Patterson, NJ; grandchildren, Isreal Mitchell, Shannon James, Hanefa Ray and Diamond Acey; great- grandchildren, Jeremiah James and Isabella James; brother-in-law, James Edmond (Helen) of Maytown, PA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. The visitation will be held at New Hope Missionary Baptist church on Saturday, September 22nd, 1 hour prior to the from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
