A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Gary Rudolph Moore of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019, will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 3:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Chaplain Richard Spearman, officiating. Gary Rudolph Moore was born in Tampa, Florida on November 17, 1950. He grew up in St. Luke AME Church in Tampa, Florida. He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County and graduated from Middleton High School, class of 1970. He enjoyed working as an auto mechanic restoring cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysees, Sr. and Doris Moore; brother, Ulysees Moore, Jr.; uncles, Hilton Williams and Leroy Williams. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his children, Letoya Moore, Ebony and Kevin Canady; grandchildren, Zena Traylor, Zion Traylor and April Little; sister, Gloria Washington; aunts, Barbara Riley and Leola Cole; uncle, Herbert Williams (Isabel); nieces, Darvi Pace, Robin Boyd and Tamika Moore; nephews, Hennis Washington III (Felicia), Ulysees S. Moore, Reginald Washington, Jr. (Angela) and Damien Barber; cousins, Brenda Williams, Barbara Jackson of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Linda Williams (Michael) of West Palm Beach, Florida, Lisa Cole and Elaine Pope; friends, Claude Jones and Angelo Peoples; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 4th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
