A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Elsie Hubbert of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2019 will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of West Tampa, Pastor Rayford Harper, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Elsie was born on August 2, 1957 to the late Andy James Williams and Julia Hill in Panama City, Florida. She was a member of Bethlehem Progressive Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and shopping. She was preceded in death by her father, Andy Williams; mother, Julia Hill; brother, MJ. Williams; aunts, Alberta Borders and Viola Harvey; brother-in-law, Charles Hubbert and grandmother-in-law, Christine Love. She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories with her devoted husband, Cecill Hubbert; mother-in-law, Imogene Hubbert; children, Carey Hubbert, Cecelia Williams (Melvin) and Christen Hubbert; grandchildren, Caylie Hubbert Cameron White, Cayden Hubbert, Tyler Williams and Tre Williams; brothers, Will Williams and Andy James Williams, Jr.; sister, Edna Williams; aunts, Edna Ligon, Mildred Clark and Elizabeth Horne; nieces, Angela Williams, Sherresha Hubbert, Caralecia Johnson, Traci Oliver and Toni Oliver; nephews, Malcolm Hubbert, Charles Hubbert, Symon Williams and Todd Barber, Jr.; cousins, Cynthia Samuel, Nancy Horne, Edna Cobb, Ronnie Borders, Roy Borders, Lonnie, Wesley, Wanda and Debra Seigler; special friends, Sherry Sims, Debra Lefew, Robyn McCaskill, Cynthia Upson, Tanya and Dennise Dubose; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, November 8th from 5 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
