A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Charlie Earl Warren, Sr. “Mr. BoBo, “Sweet Charles” of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020 will be held on Saturday January 18th, 11:00 a.m. at New Mt. Zion M.B. Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive, Rev. Larry Roundtree II, pastor; Min. Ronald Thomas, associate pastor, officiating. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Charlie was born on February 18, 1934 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Charlie C. Warren and Earline Kirkland. He enjoyed cooking, playing pool, dominoes and listening to old school music. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He was preceded in death by his wife, Idell W. Warren; son, Kenneth E. Warren; granddaughter, Shandrea Warren; brothers, Jimmy Willis, Sr. (Patricia) and Charlie Warren, Jr. (Eunice); sisters, Darlene Warren and Hazel Brown. He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories with his children, Angela Warren-Norwood, Earline Terrell (Michael), Charlie E. Warren, Jr., Reginald R Warren, Clarence D. Warren, Sr. and Anthony V. Warren, Sr.; grandchildren, Michael Warren (Murrie), Janell Lester (Anthony), Jarell Norwood (Roger), Michael Charles, Marques Charles (Brenda) and Marquila Charles (Larry), Regina, ShaRhonda, Charles, Reginald T., Kenneth L., Ebony Parker, Ashli, Clarence D., Jr., Terrence, Keneisha, Anthony and Antonio Warren; sisters, Carolyn Crawford, Darlene Watkins (Larry), Queen Cheves, Anita Warren, Patricia Mathis, Dee Ann Warren and Sheila Colbert, all of Georgia, Bernice Holmes of New York and Queen E. Holmes (Nathaniel); a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 17th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
