Charles Dewayne Faulk, Jr., better known as “C-Jay”, was born on July 7, 1985 at his grandmother’s home in Tampa, Florida to Charles Dewayne Faulk, Sr., and Fatima Faulk. He attended Lovejoy High School in Lovejoy, Georgia, where he became a forever friend and brother to many fellow students and staff. He worked for the Walmart Distribution Center in Fayetteville, NC, where he quickly became a beloved friend to many co-workers and managers. Charles was an inspiration to many and an absolute joy to have in your presence. He was a loyal and devoted friend, a supportive and loving brother, a respectful and caring son, and an awesome godfather to Skylar Lewis. Charles aspired to become a famous musician, he was a member of the music group, Diverse Ego, where he displayed some of his remarkable talents as a songwriter and rapper. At 34 years of age, Charles was expecting his first child on November 25, 2019. Charles and Stephanie chose the name “Chase DreQuan Faulk” for their son. Our family looks forward to meeting Chase and teaching him about his father and how loved he was by his remarkable dad. Charles had a way of putting everyone’s mood at ease. He was the sunshine on a rainy day and the shiniest star on the darkest night. He is very lovingly missed and will forever be in our minds and hearts.
