A homegoing celebration for Mr. Westley Lindell Bryant of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 will be held Saturday, July 1st, 2:00 p.m. at The Rock Church of God by Faith, 4323 E. Henry Ave., Ruling Elder James Williams, pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Westley was born March 1, 1950 in Manhattan, New York to the late Dollie Mae Stewart and reared by his grandparents Lonnie and Mazzie Bryant. Westley lived majority of his life in the Sulphur Springs area. He was a graduate of Blake High School class of 1968. Westley served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Westley was a truck driver for McKesson, Premier and Break Thru Beverage Company for 44 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dollie Mae Stewart; grandparents, Lonnie and Mazzie Bryant and brother, John Bryant. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his caring and devoted wife of 33 years, Gabriella Bryant; children, Damon Bryant (Trina) and Tara Yeoman of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Torrian Bryant, Vaisha Grace and Donnel Grace; sister, Elder Quanita Larry Riley (Vaughn) of Orlando, FL; sister-in-law, Annie Bell Myers (John) of Florence, SC; brother-in-law, Richard Hamilton (Lenell) of New Orleans, LA; uncle, Paul Jones of Jacksonville, FL; godmother, Dorothy Smith and family; god-sister, Lori Diane Brown; god-sons, Khamani Williams and Tyson Brown; friends and family, Allen, Batts, Burch, Carter, Eady, Coffie, Miles, Foster, Brown, Hardin, Coleman, Sheppard, Jordan, Jacksonville family, Mitchell, Smith, McCray, Davis family and Blake High School class of 1968; close friends, Eugene Suggs, James Williams, Eddie Martin, Clint Jones and John Foster; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 30th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
