A homegoing celebration for Jeremiah Nicholas Walters of Tampa who passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017, will be held on Saturday, September 2nd, 11:00 a.m. at Cathedral of Faith Church, 6304 N. 30th Street, Apostle James H. Howell, pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Jeremiah was born November 24, 1997 in Tampa, Florida. He graduated from Wesley Chapel High School. He attended Rasmussen College to pursue his bachelor’s degree in business management. He loved playing video games, sports and listening to music. He was a member of Cathedral of Faith Church.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest Richards, Sr. and Mamie Richards. Jeremiah leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving mother, Sharon Houston (Roderick); father, Floyd Walters, Jr. (Michelle); grandmother, Zoriada Walters; 3 sisters, Chelsea Barnum, Devin Walters and Eboni Birk (Ryan); aunts, Alveda Dawkins, Javonda Smith, Carla Richards, Jamilia Gabriel, Velia Austin (Lennox), Marquita Hampton (Anthony), Sabrina Alexander, Junie Richards, Joceylyn Hill, Deborah Richards and Yolanda Matthews; uncles, Ernest Richards  (Cheryl), Cedric Washington (Dana), Harold Richards (Evelyn), Alonzo Richards (Berthena), Antinorris Richards (Jade), Juan Washington, Gabriel Alexander (Linda), Charles Richards (LaShawn) and Wallace Washington; great aunts and uncles, James Reed (Betty), Eddie Reed, Christine Reed (Andrew), Annie Mae Thomas, Geraldine Christian and Flerida Miller; godparents, Apostle James Howell (Marzetta); godmother, Cametra Edwards; best-friends and god-brothers, Jireh and Jaydlin Howell; special cousins, Stephanie Crimley (Mike) and Mercedes Richards; and a host of other family and friends and classmates who will dearly miss him. The visitation will take place at Cathedral of Faith on Friday, September 1st, from 5 to 7 p.m. The family will greet friends during this time. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the homegoing service.
