The Piano Brothers

A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Inell Brown-Lewis of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 will be held Saturday, August 12th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Leatecia Williams, officiating. Ms. Inell Brown-Lewis was born on August 29, 1944 in Marianna, FL. to the late Ms. Essie Mae Borders and Mr. Essie Howard. On August 3, 2017, approximately 5:00 a.m. at Tampa General Hospital, God called Inell home to rest from her labor. Although Inell was not affiliated with any local church, she was a sted-fast believer in Christ. She always encouraged her children to establish a personal relationship with God through daily praying. Inell was educated in the Jackson County Schools in Marianna, FL.  Her purpose for moving to Tampa was to provide her children with unlimited experiences to grow and thrive; gaining opportunities that she was never provided as a child.  She made many sacrifices in order for them to achieve their dreams. Inell was known for her loving and compassionate spirit as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all she knew. She was especially passionate about the well-being of her 4 children. Inell Brown Lewis was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Deborah Brown; and her youngest son, Kevin Brown. Inell gave of herself incessantly without hesitation and was the persona of being vivacious and heartwarming. She lived and walked in the essence of optimism exemplifying love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance (Galatians 5:22-23). Her kind and humble spirit will be eternally missed by her wonderful children; a faithful daughter, Cassandra Brown (Curtis Peters); two passionate sons, Frankie Lee Brown, Jr. (Annagret Ellison) and Lorenzo Howard; 7 grandchildren, Henry Brown, Shaunecy Moore, Kenyatta Brow, Page Brown, Dominique Howard, Octavia Showers, Rolisha Brown and Miguel Nash;  2 great-grandchildren, Ani’yah Greggs and Dar’ianna Greggs; special friends, Ada Gray; Willie Mae Davis-Lane, Irene Harris, Tonya Lovett, Frankie Lee Brown, Sr. (Fannie Mae Hannah) and  Herbert Lewis; and a host of cousins and sorrowing friends. Momma you will always be cherished and remembered as we honor your life, love and legacy. Forever Your Family. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
