A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Edwina Graham of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 will be held Saturday, November 4th 11:00 a.m. at Cathedral of Faith Church, Inc., 6304 N. 30th St., Apostle James H. Howell, pastor; Rev. Sherry Scott, officiating with District Elder Queen Thomas, presiding. The internment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Edwina was born on October 2, 1937 to the late John Henry Nix, Sr. and Ollie Mae Nix. Edwina was a proud member of Royal Community Holiness Church, under the leadership of Pastor Scott in St. Petersburg, FL. She attended the schools of Hillsborough County. She received her certificate as a dietary aide from the University of South Florida and was employed by Hillsborough County School Board for many years.  She enjoyed gardening, playing the piano and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gennie Bell Tucker; brother, John Henry, Nix, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Renix and Samuel Graham, Sr., and companion, Johnny Branton, Sr. Edwina was united in holy matrimony to the late Raymond Graham, Sr. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: 9 loving children, Lynn Graham, Raymond Graham, Sr. (Debra), Mary Jackson (John), Bernard Graham, Sr., (Marie), John Graham, Sr., Kenny Graham (Shawmia), Billy Graham, Perry Taylor and Johnny W. Branton, Jr.; 19 grandchildren, Katherine Miles, Mildred Graham, Charles Felix, Kristopher (Kim), Raquel and  Deion Graham, Chrystal Adams, Tomeka Davis (Jason), Justin and Jason Jackson (Jenell), Bernard, Jr. Teresa, Anissa , John, Jr., and Mekayla Graham and Marcus Bradley; 28 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; aunt, Bernice Hemmingway; uncle, Samuel Hemmingway; brothers-in-law, Thomas Graham (Barbara), Charles Graham (Naomi) sisters-in-law, Norma Jean, Barbara and Queen Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
