The celebration of life for Mr. Cornelius Williams, a/k/a (Bay Bay) of Tampa, Florida who departed his earthly home on Saturday, April 15, 2017, will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Rodney Williams, officiating.  Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Bay Bay was born in Tampa Florida on September 7, 1940 to Richard Williams, Sr. and Eva Mae Johnson. He attended the public schools of Hillsborough County.  He was a native of the Central Park Community; he was a man about town, well known for his friendship, kindness and generosity, if there was a party of celebrations (no matter what kind) you could find him there, he brought the good times with him, he lived life to the fullest.  He was also a long-time resident of the Progress Village Community, he loved spending time with his family, his greatest love and joy came from the children, especially his nieces and nephews we could always count on him, he cooked and provided all the goodies for all our holidays and special occasion. He will be truly missed but never forgotten we will cherish him forever. He had and open door policy, all were welcomed, he was our angle among us we were blessed to live with him all our life. He was preceded by his angels in waiting, mother, Eva Mae Auguste, father, Richard Williams, Sr.; sister, Lena Wilson, brother; Richard Wilson and grandmother, Martha Johnson.  He leaves to cherish his loving memory his caregivers: nieces, Jennifer Wilson (Richard), Sophia L. Nelson, Jacqueline Wilson, Karen Wilson, Wynette Garfield, Tina Burton, Kim and Somoria McWilliams, and April Mckinnis; nephews,  Rudolph (Rudy) and Jerry (JB) Wilson, Richard Williams, Jr., Cody, Cory and Walter McWilliams, Jr.; a host of great nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Jettie Wilson; sister-in-law, Frances Williams; cousins, Jean Patterson, Joan Scott, Rebecca and Linda Bell, Beverly Burney, George Chase and William Wright, III;  special friends, Eric and Wilma Burns, Beverly Webb, Aletha, Rose and Clifford Dupree, Samantha, Gerald, Rudine Harrell and many other family members and friends, a special thank you to our entire 81st Street Family.  The family would also like to send out a special thank you to the Hospice Indigo Team, especially Cindy and Sharonda, thanks for you love guidance and support. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, April 21st from 5:00 to 8:00. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel in Saturday for the service.
